Nedo Folding Levelling Staffs and Special Staffs

Nedo folding levelling staffs distinguish them-
selves by their high quality and solidity.
The cross section of the narrow levelling staffs
measures 53 mm x 20 mm. Wide levelling staffs
have a profile cross section of 83 mm x 20 mm.

Features of the wooden levelling staff:

The self-luminous levelling staff with a barcode for the
use in underground or in tunnel constructions. With
regard to its precision LumiScale is classified between
traditional levelling staffs (DIN 18703) and precision
levelling staffs (DIN 18717).
The LumiScale graduation is backlit via a electrolumi-
nescent foil which, contrary to an external illumination,
illuminates the entire graduation and does not form
shades. Extensive tests of the Graz University proved
that measuring errors are eliminated thanks to the
continuous illumination of the graduation.
LumiScale is a joint project between Nedo and the
Graz University of Technology (Prof. Brunner).

LumiScale control is a short self-illuminating levelling staff
which has been designed for monitoring tasks (e.g.
monitoring structures). It is compact, with no attachments
to get in the way. LumiScalecontrol is supplied with power
pack and transport case.
